This guy dove straight into the weeds not 20 feet in front of me, and emerged victorious, with supper in hand. I actually had too much lens for the distance and couldn't keep him in frame.

Okay, the rain held off and I'm feeling better without having coughed up a lung, so I made out the McNeese State University softball doubleheader game Friday evening.

Here are a few shots from Game 1 before the lighting started getting bad.

This first shot I caption, "See the ball.........be the ball...." (Caddyshack reference to you young guys.)

Some shots from game 2. The pitcher threw a no hitter with only 1 walk away from a perfect game. And, in the game the next day Saturday, that pitcher duplicated the feat of being one walk away from a no hitter.

As the light got bad, I was getting some flicker from the stadium lights. I think next night game there, I'm going to try out the anti-flicker setting.
