I decided to attached 2x TC after the Eagle I've been watching flew off the tree so I thought won't be back for a while and will take pictures of the Kingfisher with 2x attach but right after a few a minute or 2 the eagle suddenly shows up with a coot. So this shot is with my 2x Kenko TC.

We've got a series of balds in our backyard, well 20-30 miles from home, they
go from 5000 feet to 6280 above sea level and when we heard a spring snow storm
was coming this last Saturday we packed up and headed off....not as much snow as we wanted
on the trip but it was nice being in 'conditions'.

And todays bird is a hawk wanna-be

Just picked up my 7DII today as a replacement (and upgrade) for my recently dead 50D (shutter failure after c.200k actuations). Lots to get my head around, but loving it so far. Will post some shots when I have something worth sharing..
