I'm good with a month or more delay if that means it's right out of the box.
I hate ad hoc fixes post sale.

16 fps. I saw one a couple of weeks ago. Gosh was it blazing fast. I'm busy with some projects right now, but will see if I can find it once I'm free.

Cheers,
Bryan

Happy birthday early, well in case I miss it :)

Something else exciting lens wise.
Leica 100-400mm is due out in 2 days according to Amazon.
I know most who await a 1DXii wouldn't even glance at mFT
but I live in both worlds and there are days I like to give the
hernia a break.

Well gang, in preparation for the arrival of the Canon 1D X Mark II, I just sold my Canon 5D Mark III. (Yay!) I will also sell my Canon 7D Mark II, but not until the 1D X Mark II arrives. Getting closer...

Very true! You're a working man.

I still have my Canon 5DsR and 7D Mark II to cover my bases until the 1D X MII gets here. I haven't been able to use my Canon 5DsR yet and I now have time to start setting it up and taking it out in the field. That should keep me busy and entertained for the month of April while I continue to wait.

Cheers,
Bryan

Nice. I'm going to wait until after I get my 1DXII to sell my 1DX. It'll make a pre-sale trip to CPS just to be sure.

Once it sells I'll probably go shopping again...

And if Chet falls through, then I'll help you out and take it off your hands for $845.

Erik,

Could your 5D Mark II tide you over for the next 6 weeks? After the 1D X MII starts shipping in earnest, the used market will start to flood with the Mark I and prices will drop. If you can send it in to CPS and then sell it now, you might be able to save yourself upwards of $400-$500. Of course, if you're a working pro, this concept doesn't apply to you.

Cheers,
Bryan

I might consider selling before I get the new camera. I'm hoping that I get a very early II and that I get into the used market while the prices are still relatively high. I also hope that values don't quite go off the cliff...

I have a shoot mid April that I have to do with the 1Dx. I may ship it to CPS right after that to get a jump on things and may even list it before the B&H ship notice...

I'm hoping for $3K +/- for a very clean, CPS checked, relatively low count body with the box and all original stuff plus a spare battery and RRS L bracket. IMO that's fair for today and I hope it stays close for the next 4-6 weeks... :)
