Come back to the Mississippi River area, there's no shortage of ducks and geese. Sometimes I think they are all I shoot.

Wasn't sure how the 7D2 would handle a dimly lit hanger. Color me impressed.

7D2 with EF 24-105mm f/4L IS handheld, no flash.

1/50th is fine for hand held...I'll go down to 1/30th hand held before I brace it or use a tripod...

Probably not for a long time. You know we got burned on our last trip (except I did get my first real images of a Great Horned on that trip).
But we are def. planning on returning to Conowingo.
And I know many love ducks, so not slamming them...I'm just not excited by them, and that is a shame because we're 6 weeks away from Iceland
and evidently it is duck city.....of course I'll be looking for what eats ducks there.

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

Good to see you working with the 7D Mk II David. Wished I'd known you were in town. I haven't been to CFM since I last saw you.

Warbirds Over Addison will be along soon ... I'll try to make it.

Thanks Lester and Peter. Found three photos from a couple weeks back. Using my Canon EF 500mm f/4 IS Mk I and concentrating on portraits.
Happy Easter.

Really admiring your series of these Egret Charlie. The first photo remind of photography book I bought and the author is George Lepp only difference is his cover book the Egret is looking up. Check it out. It is the cover from his book titled GEORGE LEPP WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY.
