Really need help, I've been offerred a job but they want this same effect!
But, I can't remember how on earth I did it!
I have DPP (but I dont think I used that ) and Photoshop Elements 13 , could have been PS Elements v. 11 then.

Any ideas how I did it - what features or functions I might have used??
I Feel seriously,stupid that I cant remember
I vaguely remember something making things blue, or moving some setting that sort of made it look like a negative, but I could be mistaken.

It was not done using UV or anything like that.

Q. If I can find the original .psd is there any way of working out what was done to it?
Like opening it and "undoing" .... To see what its "undoing" .... I don't think that would work, as I assume once one has saved it ... its all locked permenantly??

Be very grateful for any pointers, that might just stir the old grey cells?

Operation "Color/Invert" in PhotoLine will convert either version into the other one.

I took the first image posted by agedbriar and added a Curves Adjustment layer set to the Negative preset, then adjusted the Blue channel a little.

Might not be called "Negative Preset", but it's something which inverts the colors like the old negative film days.
In the real photoshop go to the menu > Image/Adjustments/Invert (Keyboard shortcut command+i on a Mac which might be CTRL+i on a PC)
;)

Search for Invert and Color Invert commands, try Ctrl+i or Alt+i.

No problem. I don't have Elements so can't help you there. In PS it's in the Curves Adjustment Preset dropdown.
