Well, this isn't Sony, but I'll post it anyway...hehehe. I finally got out yesterday and even got a bit adventurous with my Phantom quad. I admit flying it over water did make me nervous. But you only live once!

The locals here (Charlie!) will recognize the spot.

I gotta say, I still have a lot to learn in terms of composition and editing when it comes to video. But I'm sharing nonetheless.

I'll have to do a better edit with better transitions and some soundtrack added on.

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.

I lost dronitis with our fly-away last fall. Haven't gotten a hunger for another drone yet.

I just stopped by the FM Forum and saw this statement from Fred about the Loxia 21mm:

"The Loxia 21 is the most amazing lens I have at the moment. It's a my go-to landscape lens."

Crap, now my loxiaitis is worse than ever.

I read that too, its not helping the situation at all!

nice ones. I just bought the sy135 too.

I was tempting to buy the zeiss 135mm APO back, but I'm going to wait until the release of a batis/loxia/GM/whatever 135mm lens. Then I can compare and decide what suits me best.

Wish I had scenery like that a bit closer to where I live. I need to continue practicing pans and tilts to get them smoother. It does help to go into the app and adjust the yaw stick sensitivity. I don't remember with the P3 but on the new P4, there is also an adjustment that can be made on the speed of the gimbal tilt.

It you go to your Youtube channel and click on the "video management" link, you'll find on the left another link called "create". From there, you can download free music for your videos if you find something you like and even sound effects too.

I honestly don't remember whether I posted this or not but here's a short video I made of me demonstrating the 'auto track' mode with a friend. I edited it in the style of an our gang comedy. :-)

Once the camera locked on, (you can tell when the subject gets centered in the frame) everything after that was done completely automatically. I wasn't using any control input at all.

Or is the colour version preferable?:

Sony a7II with a legacy Leitz Wetzlar f4 Tele-Elmar 135mm lens. Cropped, but first image sharpened. Second image took a short trip through Portrait Pro 15 to smooth out skin problems.

i love the subtle editing... if i have to process non-model images, i would go that route.

thanks for sharing.

Walk around the Texas medical center with the Loxia 21. I'd like to retake these with a tripod one day. Underexposed them to stay within base ISO handheld, but less head-room to push the files in post. There's noise if you pixel peep the images.
