Longbeachgary thought a little financial incentive would get the creative juices flowing in his $100 potato competition. I think the community can do better than 5 submissions, so I am going to put up a $100 gift card as the prize for this month's competition.

bones...

As long as there is a or part of a bone (real or pretend) in the photo. Nikon photo competition rules apply, including (non)intentionally poor or funny attempts at photoshop.

I am going to change judging. Instead of a poll, we will vote in this thread after close of submission (11:59 PM March 31 EST). You have to submit if you want to vote, you cannot vote for yourself, and multiple submissions allowed but you still only get 1 vote.

Good luck to all!

Referring to this:

Any body, any lens, as long as there is a photo.

Not sure about sending US$ gift cards overseas, so international contestants could also have me pick up something from adorama/b&h on my way home from work, and I can international mail to them (total with shipping is $100).

Hey, I just realized something......antlers (deer, elk, moose, etc) are comprised of true bone! This could be quite interesting!

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Browsing through my photo library, amazingly, I found quite a few pics of bones I've taken over the years!
Not to my surprise though, none of them are worthy for sharing in a competition. :-P

Submissions end tonight at 11:59 PM EST. I'm sure in the voting and discussion, people will realize they forgot or never saw this thread, and want to post, but such are the rules. I actually shot some stuff, but as the sponsor I don't want to vote or win.

If you have or will submit before the deadline, please post your vote (for someone else) after the deadline and I will PM the winner!

Thanks all for participating!

I'm going to cast my vote over to Tom Reichner. Look at that rack! Holey sha-moley! That is huge!
