Camera RAW Issues pretty please help

Your screenshots in the first post look the same in ACR / Photoshop to me, so a display driver or Photoshop configuration issue sounds likely.

Two things:
- Unless you REALLY REALLY understand color profiles, conversions, assignment, etc, set EVERYTHING to sRgb. This will give you very good images all the time. An expert using other profiles may be able to do 5% better 5% of the time, but someone who doesn't understand color profiles will do 5% better 5% of the time but 50% worse 50% of the time.
- Set the three checkboxes in Photoshop color settings that warn on color profile mismatches to ON

If you have Photoshop, you have Bridge. Try using Bridge to import your photos without the 3rd party software, and see if that makes a difference. Bridge will import from your cam or card reader easily.
