A little back story: I have been wanting to photograph Bald Eagles in the wild for some time - It's on my photgraphy 'bucket list".
Two weeks ago, while working close to Dover, Tn., I saw a bald Eagle fly right in front of me and perch in a tree right beside the road. There was no where to stop and park, except for a pulloff about a 1/4 mile away. AND I didn't have my GOOD camera with me, just my cell phone.
I walked back to where I saw the eagle land and he was still there but as I got closer, he flew off! Dang (I said)!
So today I went back to that same place and this time I took my GOOD camera! And I couldn't believe it - the eagle was perched in the same exact place! I parked and ran back to where he was and was able to snap 4 pics and then he flew off!
While these are not as good as I hoped, I at least got a couple! I will try again next time, now that I know he has the same schedule as I do!
