(2 edits in all) | Sep 05, 2015 09:27 | #18 Retails for $200 USD, but I found a seller on amazon that was selling it for $120. My local camera store had the Ona Bowery and the Kelly Moore Followell in stock. The Followell fits more gear, while not looking much bigger. The Ona can fit an a7 body + 1 lens. The Followell can fit the a7 + one lens + an additional lens or speed light. Plus I like the styling of the Kelly Moore better (subjective of course) focalpointsphoto.com

TMaG82 Goldmember More info Post edited over 7 years ago by Pekka with reason 'fixed bbcode'. (3 edits in all) | Nov 25, 2015 13:06 | #24 Heres a hidden gem that I found. I ended up buying 4-5 bags looking for one for the a7rII. I found one in the Crumpler Jackpack 5500. I don't think this was released in the US and can only gt it off eBay. I paid $55 for mine but it seems to go for about $75 or so. IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/BvuRxxThe front of the bag. Under the flap is a velcro section with two separate sections, you'll see them in the last two pictures. The front flap is the only velcro section of the bag.IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/BkVQgm The main compartment. I accidentally shot this backwards, so the top of the bag where the tag is where it would be against your body. The section on the right would fit my a7rII with 24-70 f/4 attached. The middle would fit the 28 f/2 and the section on the right would fit the 55 f/1.8. You could fit all 3 lenses at once. The black mesh part is a split zipper pocket that could hold filter, batteries, etc. What I like about this bag is that it's zippered, and expands as well. All the dividers are removable and can be repositioned as well. I actually removed one divider they included. IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/Ay5Gb2 This shows the zippered pockets which are split. I like the fact that you can also fit a iPad mini in a case and it'll be reasonably protected. IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/AxYo1N Under the front flap, the three small pockets you can fit memory cards in, though I personally wouldn't put bare memory cards in there. IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/Btc1M3 The second section under the flap with another two split pockets. IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/Bodp4R Shows how much it can expand but still zips out nice and small. It has a buckle that you can undo, so you don't have to sling it over your head to remove. It can be worn on the back tight to your body like a sling (with the strap sitting on your left shoulder), or if you loosen the strap to it's longest length, you can wear it kinda like a messenger bag but sling style but the strap would be on your right shoulder. It also includes a separate strap that buckles and is supposed to keep it somewhat stationary to your body (kind of like the BRAD strap on the Black Rapid straps) but I took that off as soon as I got the bag. It also has a built in carry handle on the back and the back is a very comfortable meshy material. Overall I would say this is my favorite bag to hold a small mirrorless setup. If you're carrying mostly primes or a zoom up to the 24-70 then it's a very nice bag to use. Can fit 3 lenses with one attached. The 35 1./4, 90 macro, and the 70-200 probably wouldn't fit in the bag, at least not with other lenses inside. But for my 24-70, 55, and 28 setup it was great. I'm actually going to keep it to use with my RX1RII. Current Gear: Sony RX1RII

mystik610 Cream of the Crop More info | Jan 30, 2016 11:13 | #25 New camera, as always, means new gear. Secondly....wanted a stealthy messenger bag that was appropriate for the size of the camera + nissin i40. If I'm roaming the streets of Houston, I'd rather not look like I have a $3k camera on me. Picked up a Herringbone bag....its nice...almost too nice and is borderline a man-purse lol, but it serves its purpose. mystik610 Cream of the Crop More info | May 21, 2016 08:14 | #27 IMAGE LINK: http://s14.photobucket.com …6303_zpstxdtodlw.jpg.html Splurged on a peak design everyday messenger bag (henceforth referenced as EDM). I got it used, but let's get the sticker shock out of the way....at $250 MSRP this thing is stupidly expensive. But its a very thoughtfully designed bag that carries a surprising amount of stuff despite being really slim (but really wide) when empty. Not really an everyday bag for me or most a7 users.....its pretty big for mirrorless systems. They do have a smaller 13 inch bag available for pre-order though. For me the 15 inch is more of a gig or travel bag...something to carry A LOT of stuff in, or in the case of gigs, to carry a fair amount of large DSLR sized lenses and gear. Inside the bag:IMAGE LINK: http://s14.photobucket.com …6310_zpsgk3xnxul.jpg.html a7rII +85GM, rx1rII, Batis 85, Loxia 21, Nissin i40, pack of color correction gels, flashbender 15 inch retina macbook pro, mefoto backpacker tripod, 10 stop ND filter, four NPF-W50's, spare RX1 battery and charger, two samsung 5200mah battery packs, cleaning cloth, spare peak design capture clip. Can honestly fit a bit more stuff in here too. RX1rII can easily be swapped for a large lens or two small lenses stacked. Yes I know...no one would ever pack two 85's in a bag...but its all I had on hand at the time.IMAGE LINK: http://s14.photobucket.com …6304_zpslzgsaa3m.jpg.html Inner pockets are well designed..there are little battery slots that can fit two NPW-50's in them...cool thing is that they're color coded so you can put the charged ones in the green slots, and the dead ones in the red ones. The dividers are really thin, but can be easily folded over so you they can divide lenses that are stacked upon each other too.IMAGE LINK: http://s14.photobucket.com …6306_zpsm6smgjen.jpg.html A slim 15 inch laptop can fit into the rear compartment, and if I knew where my kids put my ipad, I could probably stuff that in there too (there's a divider). The top flap has a slot where you can slide a tripod leg into. The bag comes with a rubber band that can be used to bind the legs together and keep the tripod in place. IMAGE LINK: http://s14.photobucket.com …6313_zps74upy7by.jpg.html There's a really well designed latch system that's very secure but easy to open, but there additionally is a zipper in the top flap that allows you to quickly access your camera while carrying the bag. This is key for gig shooting when you want to quickly access your stuff in the middle of shooting....useful for travel tooIMAGE LINK: http://s14.photobucket.com …6312_zpsmcjtswil.jpg.html Lastly, if you happen to own a capture clip (or two), there's an attachment made for the clip on the side of the bag so you can mount your camera to the bag when you're out. focalpointsphoto.com

My local store has a new version with a leather flap that's really nice, plus it holds a good amount of gear too. I have the Think Tank Retrospective 7 that I use as a 'gig bag'. The 7 is big, but will fit 3 DSLR sized lenses (including my 70-200 f2.8II) Thats wrong. I have the Ona Bowery and it fits the A72 with 24-70 and 55 easily and I managed to get 3 lenses in it. ( the mentioned plus 135L with metabones)

Jun 10, 2016 16:55 | #30 My new Lowepro Pro Roller x300 AW arrived today. Note that this is the newer version, not the older one shown on Amazon that I ordered. I had a hunch the description was in error so am prepared to go ahead and keep this one. It looks like there is plenty of storage space for me and I'm looking forward to transferring all my cameras and lenses to it. I wanted to have one large storage container to house all my cameras/lenses/flashes/etc in a single place. I can load up small bags as needed depending what and were I'm shooting out of this main 'bag'. Gene - My Photo Gallery ||
