and here is an ISO 5000 shot as a result of not lowering my shutter speed after raising it trying for some BIF shots. Cleaned up the noise in Nik Dfine, thought I would give it a go as it is now a free download.

I got one too, few years back with my 40D, been trying with the 7D and just recently, the 7DII but no luck...Just a circle of light and the four Galilean moons as points of light...

Thanks for the kind words. I found one needs to expose less for Jupiter, so the moons aren't visible. Also need a calm atmosphere and many shots.

Grizz, These GHO images are fantastic. A great find and excellent work. Still checking my barred owl nest two to three times a day and so far the baby owl can still be seen through the cracks in the old tree trunk but hasn't struck his head up for a clear shot. I'm hoping that I'll eventually get a few decent shots. Headed out to the nest in a few minutes.
