In my opinion the hybrid finder isn't a practical in 2016 as it was in 2012. EVF technology has advanced to the point where it makes the OVF, especially because it's not a thru the lens view. With the 35 it's fine, but with longer lenses the EVF is better. The box gets small fast, the focus points doesn't seem as accurate and the small box in the corner isn't as easy to see because of the smaller size of the finder. Lens wise and feature wise it's great. The AF joystick is amazing, something the Sony can definately use. Dual cards is great too. For my shooting style though, I realized now that I'm,more of a dial shooter than a manual exposure shooter. Different strokes for different folks. I highlighted the advantages of an OVF several pages back. If I weren't on my phone I would go back and quote them for you, but I encourage you to look back at that post. the ovf part of the xpro2 is basically rangefinder, and there's certainly an appeal to that in the same way people love leica. It wont work well with long lenses, but if your thing is street photos with classical 35/50mm FF equivalent, the rangefinder aspect should work very well for those scenarios. It's essentially a rangefinder on roids. Sony A7siii/A7iv/ZV-1 - FE 24/1.4 - SY 24/2.8 - FE 35/2.8 - FE 50/1.8 - FE 85/1.8 - F 600/5.6 - CZ 100-300 - Tamron 17-28/2.8 - 28-75/2.8 - 28-200 RXD

It's a narrow 2 lane road stretching 13 miles over hills and ranches. Very scenic and in some years ripe with wild flowers this time of year. Very nice Alfredo. I was out in the fullshear area yday....still very flat over there but lots of ranchlands and open fields filled with wildflowers. The Texas wildflowers are really special when they're in bloom. If I weren't lugging three kids around I would have pulled over to snap some photos. focalpointsphoto.com

So long buddy. ![]() Its really a fantastic shot, and i dont want to Sound harsh as i simply couldnt do something like this with my skill level in portraits, but its a pitty that you cut off her feets. I remember an article about cutting peoples legs and arms off, and if i remember right he basically said to always cut people off where there are no joints. If you cut off the joints it looks very abrupt and disturbing. But like i said, its still a fantastic imagery! Sony A7RII | Sony A7S

LeeRatters Cream of the Crop More info | Apr 03, 2016 14:18 | #15716 Quickly took the FD50/1.4 apart last night to give all the elements a clean - it needs doing again, thoroughly, but I wanted to use it at a car meet today to give it a try out. Couldn't get the aperture working again after but sussed the issue in the end!! From what I recall from the lcd, it looks like it renders nicely and the colours look great too

That said, the imagery is still great. IDK, you get used to it pretty quickly I think (at least I have). I was thrown off when I first put my XF 35/1.4 on my old X-E1 because it's closer to a 55mm equivalent, possibly even more than that from the way it seemed, but after using it for a few weeks it felt just as natural as a standard 50mm. I think the trouble would come from switching back and forth between a 50mm and a 55mm. Fuji X-T3 // Fuji X-Pro2 (Full Spectrum) // Fuji X-H1 // Fuji X-T1

Eddie xpfloyd lookalike More info Post edited over 7 years ago by Eddie. | Apr 03, 2016 15:03 | #15719 Can anyone help me find a product to make a neck strap quick release? I use op tek QD loops on my wrist straps so I can quickly change them out but I have a artisan and artist neck strap that has steel rings at the end (like keyring rings) so cant get the QD loops to attach without it looking crap. I thought maybe the peak designs QR system would work but its the same issue at the strap side of things. Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV
