This is the color version. Thoughts?

The processed version was interesting but a little bit gimmicky to me. I find this version much more pleasing. Especially considering the richness of the greens in the grass and the hit of red in the tree on the left. The details in the gazebo are still compelling and I think the details in the bridge may even come out better in this version. All in all, I find the color version superior. I still like both images though.

Cameras: Sony α7R II, Canon 40D, Samsung Galaxy S7
Lenses: Canon 11-24mm f/4 L, 24-70mm f/2.8 L II, 50mm f/1.8 II, Sigma 18-200mm
Telescope: Meade LXD55 SN-6" F=762mm f/5, with a 2x Barlow T-Mount
Retired Cameras: Canon SD300, Nokia N95, Galaxy S, S3 & S4
C&C Always Appreciated

Without leaves on the trees and a blown out sky, I tried the previous effect but wasn't sure that it would work. Taking a second look at this version, I too think it is better.
I attribute the sharpness of the gazebo to my Fuji X100S, which, if I do my part, will take great photos.

Thanks for the kind comments!

Doug

I really like the first picture. On my monitor it has a heavy cyan cast (may just be my monitor). I would try adding a warming filter in the post processing. I think that would make it even better.

Great shot. Love the composition. Like the way the focus drops off after the farm pieces. Great B&W tones. Nicely done

This is probably my favorite from last year. :) First day of adventuring in my new home, and a really cool sunset topped the day off.
