How about cropping about 1/4 of the shot off the right - say from the bottom tip of the ear? I think it would improve an already fine shot.

Here is a BW conversion. I'm not great at it, so all I did was convert. I didn't fiddle with any setting :)

I love the mood of this shot, and I love the texture! I can see how soft that fur is and can almost feel it. I quite like this image.
