A different kind of bird, I was going through some shots of last summer and came across this one. Luckily it is coming back again this June and I have a better idea of where to wait for it.

Talking about gold mine's, I often wonder what the world think's when someone has the opportunity to shoot an animal several times a year. It would seem a few of us are fortunate enough to have that ability to do so.

Thanks Jeff! I'm very fortunate to have the opportunity to photograph theses Owls. I'm also lucky because for the past 4 years they have selected the same nest site. All I have to do is show up. :)

Fortunate,,,is one word. There's a saying " one creates there own luck " is true to an extent,,,,but some of us are lucky to not only live in the right areas,,but have the equipment,,,,,,,,and very importantly the time to presue are interests. We've all benif it'd from your luck Jeff,,,and of course a number of others here. Thanks for sharring your fortune and luck !
