Charlie, I don't have any flying egrets around, but I wanted to try the high-key technique (using flash and better beamer).
Still have this Snowy hanging around in the rain today, so tried it out on him...

Great results. I go into Nik Viveza 11 and adjust the whites to get a better visual result on my images. Love this photo.

My mom is from the New Brunswick / Nova Scotia area of Canada.

I believe you can download them now for free. I also use it but mainly dfine 2 for noise reduction.

Heard the Morning Roll Call...........grabbed the camera and shot through the window. Luckily, the one shot kinda worked given I did not bother to check the settings.

Of course.....I realized the settings were way off and proceeded to correct quickly.....

During the very short turn around.......camera up and ready he was..............Gone.

Of Course........
