And now for a Cat (and Dog) of another color....

Gals at a local pet salon are pretty creative, not permanent, non toxic dyes...

Pretty pleased to find a pair of buzzards have decided to nest in a tree in the woods behind my house. How much of the whole thing will remain visible when all the leaves have grown again remains to be seen.

This is the female hanging out in the late evening sun next to her pile of sticks

Couple of Wood Ducks. Taken today at a local pond, the first friendly Wood Ducks I have ever come across. :)

Thanks Casteel. Had some great training recently at the Alligator Farm rookery. It's taking me to a higher level.

That's been my experience too. But these were as tame as mallards, there were at least 5 pair of them. If I was not careful I might have stepped on them. :)

Ah, the Grackle. Not quite the notoriety of the Raven in Edgar Allen Poe's spooky poem "The Raven."

However, this guy could easily find it's way as a Muse in some Macabre Tale told around a campfire at midnight......Just Look at Those Eyes!

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,.......Oh Yeah......Oh Yeah!

So cool. Couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw one after moving to St. Augustine. Nothing like them in Va. Beach.
