Much to my delight the Cherry blossom is out in full! There is a street in my neighbourhood that has three of these beautiful trees in a row but as they are crammed in a small street with loads of bicycles and traffic signs and trash bins and what have you, it's hardly possible to take shots that do it justice, but here's an attempt to catch one of the trees. I shot it upwards, avoiding the ground clutter, but the buildings in the background are unavoidable.

I think it's some sort of salvia. Similar to Salvia Cambridge Blue.
