Hoverfly feeding on Euphorbia.
5Dmk2/MPE-65/430Ex flash. The crab spider photos were focus stacked using zerene. All handheld.

Great set of shots - such a shame the crab spider got it. Just shows how sneaky they are by the first shot, you just can't see that it's there.

The hover in the first picture is not the one that got caught. There were 3 of the hovers on the plant at the time- after shooting the first one I noticed one of the other ones was behaving oddly and soon found out why.
