"I was once your friend"

Another edit, this one is my original idea.
But it is kind of inspired by Lots-o, the sad story of the Teddy Bear from Toy Story 3 who got abandoned by the owner.

The rain stock brush used from DevianArt - Miciailla.

This is the real sunset this night in this location, it is mainly an exposure blending to bring it back (sky was blown in the SOOC of the girl).

Not to disparage Lisa, because she makes beautiful images. She does a lot of post processing and oftentimes these types of images start off with having no drama in the sky at all. It goes to her artistry that it's not necessarily "right place, right time" for her. She knows all the right places and then there's quite a bit of creativity.

Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

I am curious......do you know Lisa? Did she tell you this? Have you seen her images before and after she has processed them?

Do I know her? No. Do I know of her? Yes. She's very well known... I'd say famous within the photography community. In fact, her style is one of the most easily recognized. She holds workshops and sells DVDs. I was thinking about signing up. She has posted before and after shots... not sure if they're on this forum or others... of exactly what I described.

So yeah... she even sells her skies for you to overlay onto your photos. I'll promote for her. This is her site and the skies package: http://www.ljhollowayphotography.com …izona-skies-overlay-pack/ (external link)

We're pretty fortunate to have her participate here on POTN. So don't get me wrong - I appreciate her work.

EDIT: I only saw the photo and I didn't read that Lisa said it was the real sunset that evening. My apologies if I led people to believe I did not trust her comment... I simply didn't see it.
