Digital Camera Speed Challenge #412 - "I really like______"

Surely everyone has photos of what they really like, so fill in the blank for your title, and illustrate it with your photo. The winner will be the one the judge really likes!

---------------

RESULTS!

Have to say I was surprised so few entries this week. I thought everyone would have photos of "likes" such as a pet, family, food, drink, location, car, Harley, sport...the subject seemed simple and the possibilities unlimited. Oh well....thanks to those who did enter!

Some quick comments:

Benitoite: Sorry, but I'm obviously missing something here. I really tried but just can't figure out how "analog" can be "liked" and illustrated with a poor quality shot of a digital chip. Please explain!

philk54: I like that new-mown smell, too, and your shot reminds me to take more photos at ground level as I do have cameras with articulating LCD screens.

darkslinger: Really like your moody lighthouse shot. Point Atkinson - right?

Sibil: I know from experience it's hard to get good shots of bears at night around the house, so congratulations even though they are something you DON'T like!

lavanut: Fine shot of the fire but even better would have been one of people actually sitting around it as per your title.

THE WINNER IS: DARKSLINGER! All yours, and I hope you get more entries next week.

***************

The challenge begins when posted, and will end at 8am Pacific time, Monday April 18, 2016. The winner will be announced shortly thereafter.

CHALLENGE RULES:

1. Camera: Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed, (not just DSLR)
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: See standard P.O.T.N. Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge.
6. Details: Show camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
7. Commenting: Please, NO COMMENTING DURING CHALLENGE but feel free to make comments in this thread after a winner has been declared.
8. Content: Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
9. Have questions? PM me.
10. Have FUN!

* THE WINNER ALWAYS SETS THE THEME FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGE, POSTS IT AND JUDGES IT - BE PREPARED! A new challenge should be posted ASAP after you have been declared the winner.

Congrats, darkslinger! I liked that shot too.

Teekay, maybe I should have titled mine "watching the embers and logs while sitting by the fire pit". I do like watching those while I sit by the pit on a cool night. It's very relaxing. In fact, I'm doing it now while I check out a new potential laptop.

Maybe folks are just busy these days and things will pick up on the threads again soon. Oh well. It's fun to pop in here from time to time & play. :-)
