Nicely done and they are still hanging around?

Thanks! This was taken two years ago. I'm not aware of any that are still around, at least in my neighborhood.

A rare and very short (a minute or two) opportunity to have a very close encounter with a black necked stilt, in poor light but still a great opportunity. They are usually so skittish, this guy forgot he was skittish for a minute or two and then remembered and took off...lucky me....no cropping here except to square off the second one. 7D2 plus 100-400ii and 1.4 Canon TC dialed at about 450mm
