Moon on the 16-4-2016

We had a BBQ and when I took the food in I looked up and seen the half moon there and got out the camera and got off a few shots.
This one was with my 600 Tamron lens and was hand held because my tripod just would not hold the tilt on it.
SO the next morning I looked at the tripod and i think I have worked out why.
But I really want to get a pistol grip head and it has to be around the 4 kilo mark as my camera with long lens is 3.4 kilo's all together.
