Nice shots of the aurora. Speaking of that, PetaPixel just posted this (external link) regarding a NASA video you have to watch.

Love to see this page still going strong! Some fantastic work being posted by many folks. I haven't had much opportunity to shoot at night lately and been skunked during those times. I'm always lucky, it's just usually bad. 8^)

Not to say I haven't been busy though. My latest adventure is bringing life to my new website. I made 2016 the year of marketing my work and have been diligent in seeing that endeavor through. If you have time and want to check out where I'm at, click the link in my footer. It is a work in progress and I'm all over any suggestions and comments you would like to make.

This shot is was taken in 2013 about this time of year. I stumbled on it the other day, but realized that at the time I had taken the photo's in such a way that I could process it with my new(er) techniques, which I didn't have a handle on back then. The sky was taken in 20 - 10 second shots and the mountain in one 2 minute shot. The sky was processed separately by aligning the stars and merging them in a smart layer to remove the noise. The light on the mountain is from the setting moon.
