Well, you're obviously going to get a biased opinion asking here, but here goes -

In terms of image quality, I think that it's still great.

I sometimes yearn for things like a larger screen, live view and focus peaking, but that's probably because I don't have a single autofocus lens at this point. Video would also be nice, at times. Better high ISO would be cool, but not a deal-breaker. If these shortcomings don't bother you, I'd say to go for it.

Considering you can pick up one of these for the price of a used Rebel, their value makes them a no brainer. I love the natural colors out of the 5D and prefer it to any of the other cameras I have used. I rented two 6D's for a wedding in November and the 5D images held just as much weight as the 6D's. When editing, it could be hard to tell the images apart except for size. Like WhyFi said, this is a stripped down full frame camera. ISO with primes will handle most situations with grace, but seriously dark venues will hold you back. It lacks features, but has everything you need to make great photos.

My work wants to buy some photos from me to hang around the buildings. I've never printed my photos before - do you guys think 16x20 will be fine? That's the biggest size they want and I shoot RAW so the files should be the max size. Thanks!

16 x 20 should be just fine. I've printed 20 x 30 on a lowly xti and the prints held up.

Great, thanks! I thought it would be fine, but this eases my mind a little, lol.
