A family group, a mother & 4 adolescent cubs. The mother has done well to keep a family of 4 together to this age. Mortality in cheetahs can be as high as 70%.

The Family, It was raining HARD the day we found these. About 150-200 yards off the road with a kill. They had brought down an Impala & they stayed with it for quite a while.

In the exif, it shows the photo taken with 200 - 400 Canon at 600mm. The lens has a built in 1.4 TC & will take the 1.4x or the 2x. This was with 1.4 + 1.4. The vehicle also has gimbal heads slung under the roof of the vehicle allowing slower shutter speeds with out camera shake.

Looking like a cheesy grin, the young one at the back was shaking rain off.

The mother (front left) was chewing on the small branches of the broken bush. They all had a go at this, maybe a Cheetah form of dental hygiene?
