what sucks, as of today, neither the Sigma 35 or 150-600 has been upgrade to support the MC-11 adapter, yet...

Damnit, the 35 art is the only art lens I have and thought it was compatible

I like the seperation of subject/background on both shots as well as the crop for the first one Vinz.

And I was reminded by seeing your FE 85 box images why your photos sometimes seem have a green cast to them to my eyes. Have you ever considered painting your walls a more neutral color? :-)

I know its only a box, but I gotta say I'm really surprised by Batis box/presentation. Its truly excellent.

I bought 50L 1.2, 85 1.2 in past, also very expensive lenses, and I gotta say the way Canon sells these expensive lenses feels to impersonal now.

Expensive canon lenses are packed/presented in the same way as their cheap stuff, it doesn't feel like anything special

Opening the Zeiss Batis, feels like I bought a premium product.

No doubt the price we paid includes the fancy box(es) personally I'd have preferred a pouch of some kind - much more useful

Got hit with 15+ inches of rain on Monday and overall nasty weather all week, so I've been stuck indoors lately.

Looks good Vinz. Very smooth transition between the OOF area and the subject, and great colors.

Thanks gene. Yah it's caused by that green wall. I did not color balance the shot, i was testing for the sharpness department.

But yah one day i will paint that room with grey maybe.

the GM bokeh looks great, smooth and clean. I'm not a big 85 shooter, however I'm jelly.

Damnit, the 35 art is the only art lens I have and thought it was compatible

well it is "compatible" but to be compatible sigma needs to release firmware update for the lens, so far they haven't

so far only following lenses received updates to make them compatible

18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM A013
24-35mm F2 DG HSM A015
30mm F1.4 DC HSM A013
20mm F1.4 DG HSM A015
24mm F1.4 DG HSM A015
50mm F1.4 DG HSM A014

and following are still waiting for firmwares.

17-70mm F2.8-4 DC MACRO OS HSM C013
18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC MACRO OS HSM C014
24-105mm F4 DG OS HSM A013
35mm F1.4 DG HSM A012
120-300mm F2.8 DG OS HSM S013
150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM S014
