I love this thread...overnight there are 4 new pages to feed the ADD monster with...lots of good stuff!

Probably the last Milky Way image from the trip...I am sure y'all are tired of them by now anyway.

One thing ive noticed and need to test further is that the Batis 85 actually focusses slower than the sigma 85 and metabones IV. Ill do a little side by side to be sure. The Batis is going no where regardless!

EDIT - The adapted sigma is definately quicker to lock. The Batis takes an extra slight hunt before locking. Its still quick enough for me though just not as quick as Sigma

Macro is something I havent quite got the hang of yet. I am not great at framing and composition and its something I want to try more of this year with the Tokina 90. Heres one of a Rose I had in the house (Still not happy with composition, its a bit boring)

nice shot, so if you had the original 85L, would you sell it? for siggy? or batis?

Ive never used the 85L and I LOVE the sigma 85 on Sony but even though the sigma focusses faster on the A7RII than the Batis I am keeping the Batis. Its lighter and I can use eye AF. If metabones had cracked the eye AF before now it would be a harder decision possibly

In my humble opinion Macro is one of the areas where all rules are out of the window. Composition etc are really up to what your eye wants to relay to the viewer more so than landscape even. This is really nice I like it
