Apr 20, 2016 11:43 | #2843 Taken on May 20, 2012 during a solar eclipse. I found a good spot (or so I thought) and set up my tripod. Only problem was, this giant cloud formed over the mountains right in the spot where the eclipse was occurring. It was too late to drive to another spot. I was totally bummed out about this.

It is a nice picture of the clouds and the mountain anyway Charles

It was very disappointing. I had planned where to take my shots for awhile and could not believe where that cloud set up. I would have had to drive maybe 40 miles to see it and there wasn't time. The eclipse is occurring behind the clouds.
