Yeah, I did AFMA a lot, but to me it seems, like it is everytime different. I AFMA a lens, leave it to my satisfaction and few days later, the same setting is bad. No I have -7 on 70mm end and -2 on 200mm and the longer end is just behaving weird. its circulating around -4 to 0 on the longer end and the image quality is not really good to me, but don“t know, if I want something, the 70D cant do.

Sorry you are having the issues. The majority of the time there is no need to adjust.
Maybe consider setting the AFMA to -0- and see how it is, go outside and shoot simple birds in trees and see where focus is.

To me it seems like it handles differently, if the focused object is closer or further. Both zoomed to 200mm.

i did have to do (got my brother to do it as i previously mentioned somewhere here) the AFMA/MFA for my Tamron 150-600mm

clearly visible difference... sharpier :D

since then have also used my brother's 70-200mm f/4 L USM ..... bokeh much!!!! no focus issues even without IS :-P

Yeah, problem is, that my 70-200 f/4 L was set for my ex 600D by Canon service, so now I have -7 at 70mm and it has to be there, or images are unsharp. But I guess it will be user error that photos are bad :D If only I know what I do wrong :D

A couple I took in Whitby, Yorkshire, UK, today. Late sun, very windy and very, very cold. Snow forecast here tonight.

How do you like your eggs in the morning? (Not covered in the slime of slugs or snails then)? :)

As I was looking for something to shoot in the poor cold weather, a dandelion clock seemed to be the only thing of any interest.

So I tried, and as I went about it, I spotted this tiny fly inside the seedhead...
