The majority of the time there is no need to adjust. Maybe consider setting the AFMA to -0- and see how it is, go outside and shoot simple birds in trees and see where focus is. To me it seems like it handles differently, if the focused object is closer or further. Both zoomed to 200mm.

But I guess it will be user error that photos are bad
