My prime body for the last few years. Excellent ergonomics and control and a best in class AF system for its time. Very heavily used.

Mine too, for sports and wildlife; though now that I have the mark II, this may change. :-)

how is this camera at higher ISO's in the case of wildlife etc...

It's a 6 year old camera, and won't perform as well as the latest sensor technology. But you can get surprisingly good performance out of it if you just pay attention to exposure and are willing to perform some noise reduction in extreme cases:

I use it for wildlife at 800 ISO without any special NR, sometimes 1600 ISO may not need NR other times it does. 3200 is pushing it a bit and shaddows can get muddy.

Having said that this image is at 6400 ISO
