Daniel - your photos you share of these young ladies wearing incredible dresses are just amazing. Thank you so much for posting them. Really enjoy your composition and style.

thanks - well done

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

Hello
I just acquired the above lens and was doing some testing. Just wondering all the images above that users have taken, r they handheld or on a tripod?
Also are majority in AV,TV or P mode? I have been using my Tamraon 24-70 VCD 2.8 for landscapes and was wanting to get into the portrait area of shooting. Having no IS in the 135mm, little afraid to crank up the iso etc higher on my 6d, Will test it at a work event tomorrow and see how it goes.

You're afraid to crank up the ISO on your 6d? Where are cranking it too, 10000? If you use this lens in the daytime you don't have to use crazy ISOs to keep you shutter speed at/above 1/250 shooting wide open or near. :)
(besides, it is a 6d afterall) lol

Thank you guys!!

Do you ever post your untouched files? I have always admired your work (it has a very distinct look) just curious if you could show us a couple of shots straight out of the camera

Always be ready to give reason for your hope

I don't think it's helpful as the RAW files never look good and most important don't look like the real colors and contrast the eyes is seeing at the moment of the photo. Even my iPhone photos look better than the RAW files! But sure, if I don't forget the next post will show before/after photo
