Here's two more photos of the historic district here in St. Augustine. Love the crooked architecture.

Great WA work Richard. Do you have the original G1 X like me or the MKII?

Hi Charlie--thanks for the compliment. I have the original G1X and love the results I get with it. I wanted a small foot print camera that is capable of producing great pictures and the G1X fit the bill. So, the G1X is with me just about every time I am out and about--it is such a fun camera to use and I really can't say enough good things about it functionality and stealthiness!

BTW--thanks for sharing some great pictures--I really like your photographer's eye for composition.

Rich,

I like using it also. Just wanted something to carry around instead of my 5D Mk III or 7D Mk II. Especial like having a fixed lens. Really shocked at the quality of the files it produces.

Take care...

Found two images from Halloween of our daughter and my wife. This is one crazy family guys. Love using the G1 X for fun images. Used the flash only on my daughter's image.

Have fun guys...

Antique Alley in Bakewell, UK thought the camera did a decent job on the difficult exposure front.

Yes you always get lots of detail, and the G1x (either version) metering always works well.

Great photos!

I just bought a Canon refurbished G1x.
It should be a good complement to my 6D and 1D4.

I'm so happy I had to tell someone! :-)

Yes, really is a bargain buy considering how good the image quality is compared to others that are more expensive with the same spec. A full frame version of the G1x next year would be nice, now that would be a game changer.
