Oh really? Where did you find that? I just saw the premium kit (and another 128GB CFast card I ordered separately) but no mention of a free LP-E19.

I called Adorama about 5 days ago to place my order. I'm not sure if the salesman just gave me the extra battery or what the exact deal was but honestly I'm not complaining. I think I just got lucky and talked to the right person at the right time.

Ah OK, well I got a bit of a discount off the 128GB CFast card ($50 off) so I am not complaining either, though it would have been nice to get an extra LP-E19 early. I have one on order with Amazon but no idea when that will ship.

When I called today I was told the battery would ship separately once they get them. Like I said, I can't and won't complain about free though. :-)

Hm.. my order was placed with B&H on 2/2. I had also specified extra battery (which from reading here, appears to be still back-ordered). I wonder if that's the reason they're holding up shipping my camera. No e-mail citing they've processed/shipped my 1DX2 yet. *grumble* Oh well, I had wanted it for this past weekend for the airshow but since that's done and over with, I am in no rush to get the camera.

I'll bug B&H tomorrow via telephone if I don't get the update e-mail tonight to find out why they giving me the finger.

Yeah, the extra batteries are still back ordered. But they told me they'd ship it when they arrive.

Usually means the order is getting ready to ship and the next step is notify you that it shipped. I have the same message also. Most likely tomorrow you will get the notice.

In theory it means that they've allocated the item and the warehouse has been told to ship it to you.

In practice, if you don't have a tracking number yet you're probably out of luck.

I've got the same problem. vmad

I spoke to B&H and the rep told me that my camera is/was supposed to ship but that he is as concerned as I am that there isn't a tracking number.

That said, it's possible that they are behind on entering those numbers.

It's equally possible that they didn't get to all of the orders sent to the warehouse.

It's remotely possible that they ran out of cameras to ship.

However it goes, I am not the least bit happy.

My order confirmation is dated Mon, Feb 1, 2016 at 8:16 PM. The camera announced starting at 8:00 and my B&H announcement email came at about 8:30. If processed first-in, first-out I should have seen this shipped first thing this morning. There is no way I wasn't in the first 10 or so on B&H's list, however big it was.

If I'm not holding a camera tomorrow then Herm and I are gonna have some uncomfortable words...

Rather than edit the above I'm going to leave it for posterity.

I hit refresh on the B&H site just before I hit submit on #115 above.

I then went back and hit refresh again (after submitting the post, of course) and my status had changed from "order sent to warehouse Pending..." to "Shipped" with a tracking number.

Goes to show my luck.

Time to clean the glass!

BTW, I'm guessing most of y'all know this but Canon is offering 13 months of free accident protection (external link) for new stuff purchased between May 1 and July 30th. The 1DxII is on the list so all you have to do is register it once you get it.

This has been a public service announcement.

I've been hitting refresh on my Amazon order all day. Still says "shipping today, arriving Wednesday" and I don't have a tracking number yet.

Erik, so even though on the site it says in stock and sent to warehouse the in stock portion means nothing correct?
I mentioned this infinite posts ago that I don't need this camera until November. My problem is I fly out in 7 days and will
be gone 27 days. I don't think B&H holds anything even if paid for while on vacation? Think I should cancel if I don't have a
tracking number couple days before I fly? There'll be no one around to sign.
