beautiful photograph, great setting! Maybe if I get my wife that hand bag I can talk her into me getting that lens, LOL

Joeleszc, new bags or shoes are good motivations but the bag is not an ordinary hand bag and that is a huge catch. The guy behind the camera wasn't smiling even when he nailed some decent shots on that day. :-) :-P

I mentioned it because I've had similar things happen to me in the past, where I shot Elena through windows, and ended up having the reflection obscuring her face a bit more than I'd have liked. Each time it happened I just kicked myself afterwards for not using a polarizer filter. But the problem is, I don't even carry one in my camera bag normally, so even if I thought of it, the damn filter wouldn't be anywhere near me anyway.

And I still don't carry one even now. I guess I just don't learn. :p

Small wireless portable LED light is probably my favorite way to alter existing light right now. Before small battery-powered LED lights became available, I used bounce flash and also flash diffusers, but you can only see the result on the LCD screen after you'd taken the shot, and then you adjust the angle/strength according to the result. It's a bit like shooting half-blind. With constant lighting, WYSIWYG, so it's much more intuitive. Portable LED lights won't be as powerful as a flash, so it's not good for fast action, but for what shoot, it works perfectly. I usually just put the light on whatever surface nearby and angle it so it bounces off the ceiling/wall for a more natural/softer look. Or, I just hand-hold it and then shoot the camera one-handed. That's what I used for this shot. I had just gotten the LED light and was testing it before bed.
