I've been hitting refresh on my Amazon order all day. Still says "shipping today, arriving Wednesday" and I don't have a tracking number yet.

My Amazon order will be here tomorrow according to UPS tracking. Amazon screwed up on the one day shipping, it should of been here today. They did extend my prime membership because of it. It did take awhile to get the updated tracking info. I received my notice Sunday from Amazon that said shipping today.

My B&H order is showing as shipped with tracking number but no update on UPS yet which is understandable from the time I received the noticed it shipped. Might be here tomorrow

Erik, so even though on the site it says in stock and sent to warehouse the in stock portion means nothing correct?
I mentioned this infinite posts ago that I don't need this camera until November. My problem is I fly out in 7 days and will
be gone 27 days. I don't think B&H holds anything even if paid for while on vacation? Think I should cancel if I don't have a
tracking number couple days before I fly? There'll be no one around to sign.

If the order has been sent to the warehouse it's very likely that they will ship tomorrow if not today.

I don't think they send orders to the warehouse unless they have stock on hand. I believe they just got overwhelmed today with the return from the holiday and all of the back-ordered stuff.

All I have currently when going to my BH ordering is:

"New order processing 1 Day Delivery" for my 1dx2 kit (w/ the card reader) + my 256gb CFAST card.
"On Order" for the extra batt.

so sad... so so sad...:cry::cry:

One other thing i am finding is that my presets i had developed for the 1DX with lightroom just are no good for the 1DX MK II files in any way.

Used to pull the shadows back a fair bit and also boost colour and contrast but hardly need to do anything anymore other than a very slight levels adjustment.

Seems to be a lot more detail visible in the shadow areas even without PP.

You are talking about editing JPEG's, yeah?

I'm curious to know what kind of picture styles you're using in camera if you don't mind sharing. Your shots are top notch :)

I'm feeling more hopeful.
Order in stock and sent to warehouse + pending transaction on the credit card.
Is this false hope? Hehe.

Those are terrible shots, stop posting such rubbish!

(j/k, I am jealous, I want the camera and would love to be able to shoot bike motorsports, nothing like that around here). At least I am into superbikes myself, having owned a ZX10, 12, and 14, so I have that going for me anyways. :D

Great shots!

Woke up to tracking information from Amazon, it's shipped and will arrive tomorrow.

Next question: Has anyone's WFT-E8A shipped?

Gadget Guy

I will be posting some motocross stuff soon. Track opened in my area and the owner wants me to do some promo stuff for him. Motorcycle racing and motocross really makes these 1D cameras shine. Everyone love a great Bike shot. NIce work

2015 PS and LR may have problem reading some 1DX2 CR2 file:
- Some can't show thumbnail
- Some show missing parts

But Canon's DPP4 reads OK.

Why?

Because Canon is the owner of DPP software and keeps it updated with the models they introduce. The other 3rd party providers have delays in dealing with new model files. There will be an update at some point to fully support the 1DX2 with the other software packages.
