Looks good. I used to use those Gold fill kits on select guns I had long ago. Fun.

I don't want to allow this to turn into a political debate, but in my post I was referring to over sized "Branding" The Taurus reference was a specific revolver with the huge "Raging Bull" logo on the barrel. Unlike the fine print, these laser engraved graphics really jump out. Clearly this is a matter of opinion, one mans status symbol is another's defacement.

As for Sturm Ruger, safety warnings, and other fine print, I thought S&R have been doing this for many decades. I recall it was always a little joke that if you ever got bored you can always "sit down and read your ruger"

I don't want to start a political debate either, but I actually got to meet Bill Ruger at a gun show. This was back in the late seventies, or early eighties I believe. Mr Ruger was wheel chair bound at that time.

You can get them either with, or without the magazine safety, and that is why the caution was put there. That one apparently doesn't have the mag safety.
Mine doesn't either.

The ones without the mag safeties tend to be the police issue weapons, or at least that is what the police supply house informed me of. I picked up one of these used last year some time. IIRC in order to field strip you either had to pull the trigger or manually flip the magazine safety lever down before the slide would go forward and off. Mine has no such provision for adding the manual safety though. (that little square behind the slide lock)

Some awesome shots. Going to have to clean up a couple of mine and try to get some decent photos.

OK, now I guess I'm really showing how old school I am, it never occurred to me that they were doing the black plastic and tinker toy set up with the M 14 variants. I think of them as being Walnut! I imagine this has been goi9ng on for years? decades?

Just to show how long ago I'm talking about,
I used to fantasize about having one of the Springfields in Walnut back when Springfield only made rifles

Yeah probably been 20 years or more on the polymer stocks. They have a lot for them. My SOCOM II looked a lot like the one you quoted. Urban camo stock, full cluster rail system, tritium front sight. It had it all.

I hate shotguns so I couldn't say. This guy seemed to know what he was doing though. I couldn't believe how fast it fired.

He should try it with 3 1/2 inch mags instead of the low base house sparrow loads. He would only need 2
