Really nice!

Last of my Milky Way images from the OBX...had hoped to get out and chase it again in the Smokies this weekend...but as is typically the case, the weather has gone to crap on me.
This shot happened on accident...I was shooting the seawall and stars and noticed the MW visible just above the horizon...so I setup for a 6 image pano.

I think this is probably my best digital panorama to date. I've been playing with the again lately, and I'm really enjoying sinking my teeth into them again! I did a lot of these in my 35mm days (pieced together on a light table with masking tape and an Exacto knife). Shot yesterday.

11 vertical 15° photographs. 10 sec; f/16; ISO 200.
