My girl Nilly makes the silliest face when she yawns. I finally captured it, after years of trying.

2 of my 3 cats yawn regularly enough to capture them in action but the third one is always too nervous to yawn in the company of other cats and/or humans.

My cats like Fancy Feast too, but they all don't get it often. My senior boy, Kosmo, has gotten more finicky as he's gotten older. He likes the flaked, juicy kind of FF. Poor boy has been fighting a bad URI for about a week now. He's been really congested, sneezing, & not eating much. After a few trips to the vet, they said it is just upper respiratory. He's on a couple of meds to help try to knock it out. Poor thing's been pretty sickly for several days but seems to be perking up a bit tonight.

Funny you all posted yawning cat pix 'cause I caught Kosmo in the act tonight too! He's chillin' in his favorite box top from Costco on a shelf I put up for him.

This is such a great thread. It shows how many great and different kitties there are. I've had seven cats, all of them very different in personality, no two meowed the same even though five have been of the same breed, two actually brother/sister from separate litters.

Sorry to tamper with your image but I could not unsee the similarities, not just in pose but the debonair manner he exudes: :-D :p:twisted:

That is brilliant :-) I don't know the guy in the photo but it is exactly the feeling I get when I look at Champers.
