Nice shots with that CL-600X. Question, you mentioned not TTL but manual. So there are manual strobes also which will work in HSS mode. Do they require TTL hot shoe? Trying to see if anything would work with Fuji.

This is the strobe I'm using. http://www.cheetahstand.com/product-p/cl-600x-x1ntx.htm (external link)

They (Godox) make a version with TTL... the Cheetahstand.com version does not offer TTL.

They will work with Fuji in manual mode. They will not work in HSS until someone makes a TTL/HSS trigger.

To date, the only one I know about is the Roboshoot (external link). If it can switch the camera to FP-sync and if there is a receiver that will plug into the CL-600x it should work.

place a Nissin i40 in the hot shoe and place the 600 in S1 to fire the 600 into HSS

Wait, that will actually work? Hum might need to get this and an i40.

Adorama lists a Fuji trigger being developed. Is it Godox developing it and if it is will cheetah be carrying it when it comes out?

I assume S1 is some triggering mode of CL-600x which will look at the flash from Nissin i40? This this works outside?
