I don't expect anyone to book this cruise just to meet-up, but I have noticed a few posts throughout the forum where individuals have found out (after the fact) they were on the same cruise. I was wondering if anyone had plans for the SE Alaskan Cruise on Holland America's Zaandam on 25 Aug - 1 Sep 2006. If not, book it and we'll see you there.

Oh, man, I'd give my left "L" to go on a cruise to Alaska. It's a dream destination. As soon as all my kids are grown and out of the house, my wife will book one, for sure.

We all here on POTN truly hope you have a great time. Take a laptop to empty your memory card onto everynight. You will take more scenery pictures then you think is possible. I still had my 35mm last trip and went through 18 rolls of film. You will see some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world. Enjoy.

It is one of the best cruises to take. My family and I have taken it 2 times. Feel free to take the kids. We took ours and they had a great time. The only time we seen them was at meal times. The wife made them join us for dinner at least.
They have so many activites for the kids you will never see them

Just my thoughts.

Jerry

We have been on 2 Alaskan cruises and a month long road trip through the interior....what a beautiful state. We can't wait to go again!

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

There are so many people who have taken similar Alaskan cruises multiple times and STILL cannot wait to go again. I'm convinced this will be a thrill of a lifetime.

Jerry: I'm not taking a laptop on the cruise but I did invest in a Hyperdrive. I do appreciate the advice though as I believe I just may wear-out my XT. Uh, maybe just have to upgrade when I get back.

Thanks to all of you for upping the anticipation level here. You just might see some shots posted here on POTN this time next month.
