It is all-inclusive unless you select the faster shipping option.

yes... correct... I just purchased the 70-200II for $1759 out the door so to speak. The price they quote is the price you pay. The lens is great btw... best of luck.

Thinking of trying this service out for a 70-200 II. Do the sellers usually charge tax and shipping on top of the accepted price? I'm just trying to get an idea of the actual price I am paying.

I'm in PA
I've used them countless times.
NO tax, as the suppliers are usually in NY.
I typically place a bid before 12pm est.
I have the product the following day by 1130am via UPS ground.

Insane service.

Does anybody know if there are any active promo codes right now that will work for lenses?

Unfortunately, I have not seen one in a long time.

Last time they emailed me anything about a promo, it had something to do with doing away with widely usable codes to more like a rewards/loyalty program with levels. But I think they did away with that too.

Good to know so I don't wait around for one. I haven't used Greentoe in over a year so I wasn't sure if they were still issuing them regularly or not. Thanks.

I'm also looking for the 400mm DO II.....

I wonder if it would be a huge mistake to get it at 42nd St Photo for $6295 ?

They are grey market but have a good 9+ rating on resellerratings.com....

Unfortunately, they don't have set prices. They basically float your offer to various retailers who either accept your offer or counters with their own offer. So while one offer may get accepted one day, that same offer might not get anymore attention the next time around.

Agreed. if it was an $800 lens then getting one for $600 is worth the risk, but on a $6,000+ lens? Spend the extra $200 and buy the USA model that you know Canon will warranty. (or alternatively, contact Helen and see if she can help you obtain the lens you want. ;) )
