I started using Opera for Android version 36.2.2126.102826 on my 2013 model Nexus 7 tablet recently as Firefox was running like a turtle in molasses and taking my launcher down with it. While other forums load fine in Opera, POTN doesn't.

On logging in to POTN, as the page loaded it showed the purple (?) button for unread threads to the right of the PM icon as usual. Then that disappeared. Then when the page finished loading it came back, but clicking it did nothing.

So I came to this sub-forum to report on it. I clicked on the Start a New Thread button and got a message saying, "OPENING EDITOR Hold on... Security token failed/expired. Please reload the page and try again." It doesn't matter how many times I reload the page, I get the same message when clicking the button.

I'm able to use the forums by clicking the Followed+Own link, looking for threads with new posts, and clicking the New link. But it means I have to use two different ways of reading the forums, one on my PC and one on my tablet. If it can't be fixed, it won't put me off using the forum, though.

Additional problems I noticed today: I can't reply to posts. When the editor tries to open I get the same security token error message. Also, the Heads Up dialog keeps coming back whenever I change threads/forums, no matter how many times I dismiss it. Looks like I'm going to have to use a different browser on my tablet just for POTN, as I've had to in order to post this.

I tried latest Opera desktop and Opera on Nexus 7 2013 just now. No problems there. This reply is typed in Nexus Opera.

So, there is nothing I can do about it, sorry.

I would definitely suggest a factory reset of your Nexus, those problems sound a lot like some sort of internal corruption. I would also note that with Android using Chome is the best bet.

Thanks for your reply. I've had other problems with my Nexus 7 so maybe a reset is a good idea.
