This thread has grown quite thick with great information!

(I have a CL360 with FT16)
After going through so many pages, and almost going cross-eyed, I'm trying to find out:

1: Will the X1cT allow control of flash power on a CL360 with an X1cR receiver or with an FT16 receiver attached to the CL360?

2: Will the X1cT allow HSS with the above combination?

3: Will the X1cT with X1cR receiver allow HSS with a regular monolight (like a Mettle600)?

1. you need the XTR16 (receiver) for the control of the flash power

2. of course, it sends a pre-sync and it is up to you if you use the longburn or the blinking light provided by the AD360 (CL360)

2. Receiver 2.5mm Sync and Shutter Release Port – Output...so, yes if the Mettle can provide a flashduration of 250ms or longer

You would just have to buy the XTR16 and use the old ft16 transmitter and receiver for backups

FT16 in the hot shoe of the X1 using the FTr16 will do HSS or just use the X1 and the new XTR16

I emailed Helen at Adorama to ask about their still-not-available V860II-C, or as they call it, the "FPLFSMZL2CA" or "Flashpoint Zoom Li-on R2 TTL On-Camera Flash Speedlight For Canon"

She told me that according to their Purchasing Dep't, they will be available "hopefully by the end of the month". They've delayed its release until they are sure Gr mode is working properly. I consider this good news, despite its thwartification of my immediate-gratification urges.

Owen.

 Can Adorama come up with a longer more complex name for A speed light?

They really need to come up with a better naming scheme that would at least make more sense and be more compatible with the Godox lineup of products so people know for sure what they're buying. The Adorama marketing is only confusing people when they go to buy.

Owen,
Current firmware for the TT685s I have is V1.6. For the pre-release test version V860s I have its V1.0 and it works the same as TT685s so may be the release version as well.
The 3 X1Ts units I have, one test version and two shipped from Chinese reseller when released are V12. This is the version Edward said he was going to tell Godox to release to production.

TT600 under "Notes" should include "built-in 2.4G triggering"

Good work!:-)

Copied all your comments to the Flashpoint Purchasing Team. update: the name SHOULD read:
Flashpoint Zoom Li-on R2 TTL Speedlight For Canon.

Hopefully getting it corrected today.
