Red-eyed vireo silhouette. Really underexposed the original since this guy appeared out of nowhere to check me out so I darkened it into this. Didn't get the ISO adjusted for a second shot.

They are only pigeons but I had fun. FYI. I was on another site and was told me you can't shoot faster birds with factory settings. These and the others BIF shots I just posted are Case 1, 1st and 2nd priority set to equal. I used 4 point expansion. I was shooing in 8 FPS and have good burst sequences.

I'd like to shoot more exotic difficult to find birds I see posted. For some reason beside pelicans, ducks and pigeons I often don't find many hawks, etc I can get close enough to. We have lots of pigeons :-) Songbirds I can get.

Glad someone said it. Those are certainly not pigeons! Nice shots of those gulls.

Talk about a brain fart. At FM they joke around and call birds Pijuns and I had that stuck in my head. Those realize those are gulls.

Great shot, Peter. Where was this? I'm also in Washington state.

Thanks. It's Riverbend trail by Riverbend golf course.
