Nice, Stina. I have yet to make it to a rodeo but every year I try. I am looking forward to getting back out into nature one of these days....... but I have to slow down my customers first. I am hoping for a slow June and I take July off.

Thanks, Maureen. We have two rodeos coming up, but I only photograph the local team roping part of it. There's no photographer on the qualifying day and I'm comfortable taking pictures there. It's kind of a priority in my house. :)

Sorry, been away. Love the shots! My granddaughter is 5, but she is a beauty and loves the sloppy pony tail look.

Maureen, great shot of the best view in the park!

Stina, love the action shot!

I am just getting from 2 hours of sleep to get one son ready to go to school this morning and getting ready for grandkids in 2 hours. I'm exhausted. But it's all good.

I asked for some new kiddie toys for my birthday about 10 days ago. My daughters bought me a little kitchen, food, pots, pans etc. Aaron & I put it together Monday & today Ella had a ball playing with it. Don't you love the tongue?

Love the tongue! My sons do the same thing when they were concentrating on something. Rather adorable.

We still have our kitchen set up in the basement and the grandkids love it, but they love running around even more. I have a "play doh station" where they sit at the counter and have every color play doh at their disposal, but they must take out one at a time. They love that because they can create their own meals (mostly really disgusting stuff) and pretend to feed it to me. I pretend it's yummy or disgusting. They enjoy torturing me that way.

It has rained so much in the last month that we haven't gone outside to ride bikes. It's also cold for May. The plants love it, but kids don't do well wet and cold. Staying inside has issues of it's own. So, hopefully, when school is out, we'll play more outside. I still have the water/sand table in the box and the basketball hoop thing has never been touched since I put the box in the basement. Must get a strong man to get them outside for me. :) Okay, I can do it myself, but why?

We are having off & on weather. 3-4 days 75-82, then a couple of hot days in the low 90s. Today will be one of them so after Ella naps we are heading off to the water fountains for some fun. Today I will also pick up some lunch as I made breakfast plus put dinner in the crockpot this morning so I am taking a break on the lunch meal. We will picnic at the water fountains.

My husband roped in a "World Series Team Roping" yesterday and I took pictures. He didn't have any luck and I didn't get any good pictures of him, but I managed to get a few shots that I liked. :-)

Hope you all have a great weekend. We are off to Santa Cruz in the morning & wedding is on Sunday. I hate beach weddings midday; windy & harsh sunlight make for a lot of stress on me:rolleyes::rolleyes: Or it could be gray & overcast... but fortunately my niece is not fussy & mostly wants pictures in a photo journalistic fashion.

I have a smudge on the sensor of my 5D2. I'm so sad. I gave way my sensor cleaning stuff. Have to blow it out, I guess, first. I don't even know where my blower is.

Off to the store.

Happy weekend! Shooting groups of ladies today.

Where is everyone? I am thankfully finishing up the last of 13 photo shoots in the last 3 weeks. From twins to newborns, a beach wedding in harsh midday sun, cake smashes & one teensy weensy newborn, it has been crazy. Through it all I have kept my grandkids & even did one photo shoot with Ella in my left arm & the camera in my right!!

The beach wedding started in the afternoon & reception went until 10 at night. Long shadows at dusk, harsh sunlight & no light but somehow I managed to work through it. Very casual; no traditional dress, no cake or garter. The bride & groom didn't want a lot of formality in their photos so it was relaxing & fun. I got to visit with people & eat dinner!!;-)a:lol:
