I used it the following day on a scheduled shoot in a cramp garage. I couldn't be happier with its performance. It's so much sharper than my Canon 16-35 f4 IS and I wish I would have upgraded sooner! The Canon is very sensitive to adapter quality due to the floating focus elements. Many of the adapters are actually made too short to ensure infinity focus but this causes pretty significant problems near the edge of the frame for lenses like the 16-35 F/4 IS. Having owned both, the Sony is a solid lens but the Canon is definitely sharper. Peeler Senior Member More info | Apr 27, 2016 09:59 | #219 The Canon 16-35 f4 wasn't bad, but this Sony is much better in my opinion. The Sony seems much sharper in the corners and has less distortion on the wide end. Maybe I have a bad copy of the Canon lens. I used it a lot with my old Canon 6D before switching to my A7rII.

It's your camera body, the A7rii is a significant step up from the 6D. I've been reworking my library, including the 6D images, and it doesnt have the bite of the A7rii.
