Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week's the theme is Showing Motion. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Show us Motion. Actual Motion, Inferred Motion, Locomotion whatever, just show us some motion.

Here are the rules:
1. Shots need to be taken between Monday Sunset and the following Monday by Sunset (Whenever that is for you ). Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
2. Post your shots at any time during the week.
3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e. embedding them), but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. A copy of the size rules can be found here: IMAGE POSTING RULES
That's it! Have fun! As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.
An index to previous weeks can be found here: POTN WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK INDEX

That's it!
Have fun!

May have to sit this one out. IMac decided to grenade yesterday. I have the laptop but do not like using it.much. Working with apple but do not know if I could trust it back in the house if they do not give me a.new one. And with it out of warranty, that is highly unlikely. So the search for a new one starts today

I don't know how you got that background, John, with the B of P standing still, but it's a nice effect.

Every day this time of year, a little before sunset, one or more swarms of tiny insects occupy airspace in our backyard. I tried to capture them using manual focus and didn't do well at it, but here's a shot anyway. Each yellow spot is a flying bug in sunlight. Trust me, they were moving.

After sunset, they look more like this.

And we know this round thing moves, even if it doesn't look like it here, right?

Very nice shots by all to start the week. Spent the last 2 hours on the old Dell Dimension and Windows XP trying to get the photos shot in RAW to upload.

Anyhow, Cooper lended me a hand on this one. Well, a tail. Multiple shots taken and stitched to show motion today. Sorry, no tripod so there is some movement shown there also.:-(:lol:
