No not better but not worse. Slower and longer. I bought the PZ 18-250 for the trip and the FE 70-300 for the a6300. On the 6300 it is a BIF machine but using I still wish it was 400. The PZ is wonderful for video. Back to the 70-300 I just don't think I'll get rid of my FE 70-200.
Anyway we are just outside Skaftafell at an N1 sipping hot coffee post a sleet-ice storm. Before that I was in the ocean up to my calves shooting the icebergs from Jokusarlon and me and the A7Rii both took a hit with a rogue wave. Didn't go under or get submerged but we were drenched....had the FE 16-35 on.....the camera is still working.....at least for now. Maybe the sealing really is better time will tell.

Everything about that image is enchanting. A moment of wonder, beautifully captured.

I wouldn't write off FWD cars (it seems you are ;) ), I did for a long time being a BMW guy, but talk on the forums convinced me to try out a Mini and all it took was one test drive to change my mind, it handles like nothing I've driven before it, word has it that the Fiesta ST is even better and has plenty of room for kiddos ;)

As a Mini owner, I can say, it is a hoot to drive. Mine is setup for the race track more than the street, and it will hang with faster cars..until the tracks looses its curves...but I have plans on fixing that.

My daughter finished PreK-4 yesterday...so I spent an hour with her class playing and goofing off...of course the camera was out. My daughter gives me ugly faces now, I think I took too many photos of her when she was smaller and now she sometimes seems to resent the camera...the other kids in her class love it, they ham it up...this is one of her best buddies, and for me, seems to capture not only his spirit, but the free, fun spirit of kids in general...the A7R2 and the Sigma 50Art are such a great combo.

That's awesome Vinz. A strong aptitude in math will get him far in life (easier to shoot in M when you can do the exposure calcs in your head ;-)a )
