Kate is 4 and Jack is 20 months. These two are incredibly energetic and getting them to stand still is nearly impossible, so these will do.

We also got baby sister (Brooke) to sit with them and mom for a Mothers Day picture. This was all she wanted for Mothers Day and she was very happy with it.

Do these look oversharpened? I cant decide. The 135L is pretty darn sharp on its own. I dont think they needed any extra.

These are great. The smile on the first one makes it my favourite.

My opinion on the sharpening is that it's sharper than I would go, but not glaringly 'oversharpened'. Question though, did you sharpen and then downsize the images? They look a bit pixelated, like either the images we sharpened again, on upload (I didn't think these forums did that), or like they were resized after sharpening.

When I'm paying attention, I always sharpen last, after resizing.

They were rseized per forum rules before uploading..that makes sense. They look good full size and in print. Thanks for the insight.

They do look a little sharp, or is it to much Clarity slider in LR? I know I used to use that slider a ton, and then someone asked me with my photos had a tone of grit to them. I finally figured out I was going heavy handed with the clarity slider. On a different note, I love the images. Having a very supportive spouse that enjoys your gift of photography goes a long way, and makes gifts really magical. Well done sir, and amazing family.
